FiSensor Form Strategic Cooperation with TetherIA,a Silicon Valley-based Dexterous Hand Company

FiSensor and TetherIA,a Silicon Valley-based dexterous hand robotics company, have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This cooperation will focus on the in-depth integration of "multimodal electronic skin + tendon-driven dexterous hand", jointly promoting technological breakthroughs in robotic tactile perception and high-precision manipulation, and building a next-generation intelligent dexterous hand system that is perceptive, learnable, and suitable for mass production.

This strategic cooperation covers joint development of multimodal tactile electronic skin technology and applications, optimization of hardware-software system integration, algorithm development and data collection, as well as in-depth cooperation in key application scenarios such as medical rehabilitation, service robots, and logistics sorting.

About TetherIA
TetherIA is an end-to-end robotics company based in Silicon Valley, USA, focusing on developing the next-generation general-purpose dexterous hand platform. It was jointly founded by core members of the Tesla Optimus dexterous hand team and early members of Waymo’s AI foundation model initiative. Joe, Co-founder and CTO, was a founding core member of Waymo’s AI foundation model team and has published multiple papers at top conferences such as CVPR, in the fields of AI and autonomous driving.”

TetherIA’s first five-finger humanoid tendon-driven dexterous hand will be officially launched at the Conference on Robot Learning (CoRL), held at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea, from September 27 to 30, 2025. This product is expected to become the world’s lightest and most compact dexterous hand with a high degree of freedom.
TetherIA has launched the pre-order for Aero Hand,an open-source and tendon-driven dexterous hand. With its cost-effective, practical, and reliable design, this product is expected to significantly accelerate the development and training of manipulation algorithms within the robotics community.

Towards the Future:Technology Integration, Prioritizing Perception
Currently, Jingzhigan has established in-depth cooperation with a number of leading robotics companies,medical institutions, consumer electronics firms,and automotive enterprises. Its applications include, but are not limited to, robotic dexterous hands, rehabilitation equipment, smart wearables, and industrial testing.
This strategic cooperation with TetherIA is an important step for Jingzhigan to advance its globalization strategy. Leveraging Silicon Valley’s open technology ecosystem and its concentration of robotics hardware and software talent, we will further accelerate the application and implementation of electronic skin technology in key scenarios such as medical rehabilitation, collaborative robots, and intelligent manufacturing.
Through joint promotion of product-level collaboration, joint algorithm development, and alignment with international standards, Jingzhigan’s multimodal flexible sensors will transition from the laboratory into more complex and realistic operating environments, marking a leap from single-modality perception to system-level tactile intelligence.
